Ingredients :

Dried Mustard Leaves

Tomato

Salt

Red Chili

Smashed Garlic

Shallot

DIRECTIONS

Add all of the ingredients  listed above into a bowl and slowly pour boiling water over the ingredients.

Wait 5-10 mins as the dried mustard makes the broth sour.

STORY

Sawn Htang orignated in neighboring Yunnan, where the name means “sour soup”

In Jinghpaw language it could be called “Chyinghkrang hkri chyahkraw”

It is still generally called by Sawn Htang
